Option Lake Cruise on Lake Brienz
If you have good weather and you would like to take a lake cruiser, you could take the first part of the journey to Lucerne by boat. The landing in Interlaken Ost is behind the train station, from where you would take a boat to Brienz. Upon arrival in Brienz you would have to walk for 200 yards to the Brienz railway station where you would continue with a train to Lucerne.
