Excursion to Mt. Schilthorn (Elevation 2970m/9744ft)

You can start this excursion at your leisure in Interlaken Ost (East Station) by taking a train to Lauterbrunnen. Trains leave every hour at :05 and :35 minutes. In Lauterbrunnen you either take the postal bus to Stechelberg or the cable car to Grütschalp. If you take the bus to Stechelberg you will then take the cable car up to Murren and on to Mt. Schilthorn. If you ascend via Grütschalp you will there take a mountain train to Murren and walk through Murren to the Mt. Schilthorn cable car.  On top of the mountain you will find a revolving panoramic restaurant. You can stay up on Mt. Schilthorn as long as you like.
